April is Community Banking Month

4/5/2022

The Community Bankers Association of Illinois’ 32nd Annual Illinois Community Banking Week kicks off on Sunday, April 3 through Saturday, April 9, 2022, during National Community Banking Month.

Community Banking Month highlights the tradition of local hometown community banking. It provides consumers, entrepreneurs, and farmers an opportunity to learn more about community banks and their role in building stronger communities. The theme this year is Lending a Helping Hand. Here are some of the ways community banks lend a helping hand.

Community banks focus on serving small businesses. Community banks want small businesses to succeed and help provide the tools to do so. When it comes to commercial banking, community banks partner with business customers.

Community banks are committed to giving back. Community banks focus on the needs of people in the areas they serve. At Warren-Boynton, we are always looking for opportunities to support our communities of New Berlin, Springfield, Palmyra, and Modesto.
